Our staff is operating with an abundance of aloha to serve you. As directives from state and local officials requiring temporary closures have been implemented, we will act as we do for any other natural disaster, making sure customers have adequate supply of gas. For those with propane tanks, that means topping them off. Those on the utility line will have a steady supply.
When you see us, please maintain a minimum of 6-ft of social distancing and remember that face coverings must be worn at all times so that we can continue to serve you.
We’ve equipped all our offices and vehicles with necessary sanitary tools like hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes, and we have taken all the preventive measures recommended by public health officials. All facilities have enacted heightened cleaning and sanitizing of shared spaces, including customer service counters and high-touch surfaces.
If you encounter a gas emergency, (i.e. smelling gas odor or hearing a leak), leave the area immediately, call 9-1-1 and then call us, and a crew will be dispatched immediately. Visit our Customer Service page for 24-hour emergency phone numbers on all islands.
Our island communities know how to pull together to withstand these situations, and we are confident that we will get through this as well. Our thoughts are with those currently impacted by COVID-19 and we are grateful to our state’s health care community for the work they have been doing.

Please call 811 before you dig! While you are following stay-at-home guidelines, it may seem like the perfect time to get some projects done. If you’re planning to dig or run heavy equipment it could damage gas lines, even for minor excavations. Call us so we can help ensure you avoid any issues.
Status of operations during COVID-19:
For residential customers, the work we do outside your home will continue without too many changes. We ask that you maintain a minimum of 6-ft of social distancing and face coverings must be worn at all times. However, at this time our personnel will not enter your home except for emergencies. Our employees maintain the right to refuse service if the health or safety of themselves or the customer could be compromised. Please review the following guidance.
For commercial customers, where interaction is limited and operations are minimal, our work will continue. We ask that social distancing of 6-ft is maintained at all times and you may see our teams using protective gear while on site.
If you encounter a gas emergency (i.e. smelling gas odor or hearing a leak), leave the area immediately, call 9-1-1 and then call us, and a crew will be dispatched immediately.
