Air – Air for Combustion and Ventilation

Appliances shall be installed in a manner and in a location with sufficient ventilation to permit complete combustion of the gas, proper venting of the appliance, maintenance of safe operating temperature, and proper supply of air. Exclude from the calculation the input ratings of listed direct vent appliances, enclosed furnaces, cooking appliances, refrigerators and domestic clothes dryers.
