May 5, 2025 (Honolulu, HI) — Hawaiʻi Gas, the state’s only regulated gas utility, has announced the relaunch of its Summer Hire program, running from May 26 – August 22,2025. Designed for students enrolled full-time in a college, university, or trade school—including recent high school graduates—Summer Hire positions are available at company locations across the state, including Honolulu, Kapolei, Kahului, Hilo, Kona, and Līhuʻe. Summer hires will assist Hawaiʻi Gas employees with tasks, projects, and daily operations across different departments, providing them with hands-on experience that can help build skills for future career opportunities.

Eligibility requirements:
· Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
· Candidates must be enrolled full-time in a college, university, or trade school, or other qualifying educational programs, or are recent high school graduates planning to begin full-time secondary education
· Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States
Program Duration: May 26, 2025 – August 22, 2025. (No extensions will be granted.)
